CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

TRAINING PAGE

Thank you very much for participating in the Curriculum Development Workshop. This workshop brings together secondary and postsecondary educators, curriculum writers, subject matter experts and members of business and industry in small teams to align high school courses to National, State, and Industry standards and develop rigorous, project-based curriculum and opportunities for dual/articulated credit at the postsecondary level.

To best prepare you for the activities and expectations of our sessions, we've created three videos, linked below. Please view the videos in sequence, as the information presented is cumulative.

You will receive a training packet in the mail with materials referenced in the videos. All resources are also available for download here.

Thank you again for your participation! If you have any questions, please contact Martha or Melinda.

We will be using Google Docs for our collaborative writing. One person on each team will record the results of the development work, and all members will be able to view and make changes later on.

To work with Google Docs, please send a gmail address to CTEP2010@gmail.com and we'll share the curriculum development documents with you.

If you are not familiar with the use of Google Docs, we've created a short training video customized for our collaborative writing process, linked here.
